Book Tour

Join us on a sacred pilgrimage to two of Nepal's holiest destinations: Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. This profound religious tour offers an opportunity to explore sites steeped in spiritual significance and provides insights into ancient beliefs and practices. According to sacred texts, visiting Damodar Kunda and bathing in its holy waters absolves one of all sins, while Muktinath promises liberation from the cycle of birth and rebirth.

Muktinath: The Path to Nirvana
Muktinath, a sacred site cherished by both Hindus and Buddhists, carries profound spiritual significance. According to Hindu mythology, life is viewed as a cycle of birth and rebirth, known as Maya (illusion). Pilgrimage to Muktinath aids seekers in attaining Nirvana, liberating them from this eternal cycle. At the heart of Muktinath lies the iconic 108 sacred waterspouts, where devotees immerse themselves in icy water flowing from bullhead-shaped spouts, symbolizing purification and spiritual renewal. Additionally, the twin ponds, or Kundas, located in front of the temple, are considered holy; bathing in these waters is thought to cleanse one of the sins and bring salvation. Visitors also engage in temple worship, offering prayers to seek blessings and achieve spiritual liberation.

Damodar Kunda: The Holiest Pond of Upper Mustang
Damodar Kunda, nestled in the remote region of Upper Mustang, is regarded as the holiest pond and the source of the Kali Gandaki River. Referenced in the ancient Baraha Purana, Lord Krishna proclaimed that visiting Damodar Kunda and bathing in its sacred waters would absolve all sins. This site represents the pinnacle of spiritual cleansing and divine connection for Hindus. Pilgrims perform sacred rituals such as Abhiseka (ceremonial bath) and Japa Aradhana (chanting and prayers), experiencing profound moments of devotion and peace. Surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas, Damodar Kunda provides a serene and deeply spiritual atmosphere that enhances the sense of connection with the divine.
